The Hyndburn’s Woodlands Project has had some pathway maintenance work carried out at the top of Whinney Hill woodland. A number of site users have mentioned how, after heavy rainfall, this particular path becomes very boggy and difficult to traverse.
After a consultation with a local building company, it was decided the best course of action was to raise the path and add drainage channels to prevent waterlogging.
The work has now been carried out and the new path looks incredible! We are very grateful to Sterling Construction Company ltd for carrying out the job and doing such a wonderful job! The site now looks a lot more attractive and will hopefully allow visitors to access our beautiful butterfly grove more easily!
