Join Hyndburn Woodlands Officer, Brandon Cherry, for a monthly Saturday volunteer session at Whinney Hill woodland.
The sessions will take place on the last Saturday of every month, from 10am – 1pm, with the first session on Saturday 30th September 2023. Meet at 10am at the end of Thorneyholme Road (near the Cricket Club), Accrington.
Volunteers will help out with conservation tasks in the woodland, including tree thinning, access improvements, invasive species removal, litter picking, meadow management and glade management.
Families are welcome.
