On Tuesday 12th May 2026 the Hyndburn’s Woodlands Volunteers were at Huncoat East woodland carrying out some site maintenance work.
We mended the boundary fence, which borders the motorway, that has had choice lengths stolen. Unfortunately, this had been done in a way that had left small pieces remaining, meaning they had to be sawn out of the structure.
After mending, we took to working on the paths to cut back encroaching vegetation and trees which were obscuring vision
