On Saturday 4th April 2026 the Hyndburn’s Woodlands project was at Bank Mill House Senior Centre to host our second ‘Easter Bunny Making’ session.
Attendees utilised premade kits consisting of heads, bodies, ears, and paws. These were all created from locally sourced Hazel coppice. Attendees chose their own pieces (which varied greatly) to create their own specially designed bunny!
Attendees (parents) drilled holes into each piece at specific points, and attached all pieces together using wooden dowels. Afterwards, they used sharpies to decorate them however they liked. The event welcomed 24 people onto the session, who enjoyed refreshments provided by Bank Mill House staff.
All of the bunny’s came out looking incredible! Thank you to everyone who attended our session, and thank you to the staff at Bank Mill House for lending their incredible space!
