On Saturday 12th April 2025 the Hyndburn’s Woodlands Project hosted a seasonal crafting treat at Bank Mill House Senior Centre, in Great Harwood!

Participants created their very own Easter Bunny’s from kits! Locally coppiced Hazel was cut into small logs and cookies of varying sizes. Participants then created their own dowels and used these to fix together the pieces, pencils and pens were provided so that children could make each Bunny their own!

People enjoyed getting creative while Bank Mill House staff very kindly offered brews and juice to families!

We are very happy with the turnout and with the wonderful creations everyone made! Thank you to everybody who came along and made it such a wonderful day, and to the Bank Mill House staff for offering so much assistance on the day!

As always, thank you to our funders at Lancashire County Council, Hyndburn Borough Council, and the Windfall Fund for making it all possible
