On Wednesday 25th October The PROSPECTS Foundation was joined by Roger Cunliffe, a local fungi enthusiast, who very kindly offered to share his expertise with Participants!

Participants ventured through Whinney Hill, looking for fungi, moulds and more which Roger would identify and offer some interesting information on the species, uses and growing habits.

In total, around 11 different species were identified, including Turkey Tail, Sulphur Tuft, Jelly ear and a Shaggy Inkcap! Everyone learnt a lot of very interesting information and walked away with a greater knowledge!

Thank you to everyone who attended and to Roger for sharing his knowledge with us!
